Objectives
- Produce excellent audio-visual and Multimedia programmes of Social awareness like First Aid, Road Accident, Blood donation, Blue Cross, Health Care, Aids Awareness & Social services
- Conduct Research & Train Media Persons
- Utilize electronic media in education
- Promote a healthy audio-visual culture to Higher Education
- Popularize e-learning
- Encourage, cultivate and harvest the resources of the faculty members and other experts to produce high quality educational programmes.
- To document South Indian art and culture
- To document research activities of the University
- To cater the needs of the departmental activities like Language Teaching, performing Arts, Archaeological activities, documentation of manuscripts, etc., related to Audio-Visual.
- All Subject Lessons Preparation in CD & DVDs “The vision is to electronically reach out to a large number of students, teachers and general public with quality educational software, so as to address the issues accessing higher education with equity and quality”.
- The center is planning to conduct short term video courses in script writing. Video production, Video Editing, Film Appreciation courses for the interested unemployed youths and Video Practical training programmers for the Mass Communication students.
